Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 14, 2026 · Version 2026-08-14

This policy explains what JW Engineering Solutions LLC collects when you use ProCalc Toolset Suite and how your plant-floor data is handled during tool use.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how JW Engineering Solutions LLC ("JW Engineering," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use ProCalc Toolset Suite and related websites and tools (the "Services").

Many ProCalc Toolset tools perform calculations in your browser. Data you enter for analysis generally stays on your device unless you choose to export or save it.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — email address and authentication identifiers when you create an account or sign in (via Supabase Auth).
  • Purchase information — billing name, email, and transaction metadata processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
  • License and session data — which tools you are licensed for, purchase records, and limited device/session identifiers used to enforce seat limits and prevent abuse.
  • Usage and analytics — aggregated tool opens, feature usage (e.g. exports), and sanitized error metadata to improve reliability. You may opt out in your dashboard. We do not collect measurement data or workspace contents.
  • Support correspondence — information you send when contacting us for help.

3. Information we do not collect from tool use

For most tools, measurement data, study results, and files you upload are processed locally in your browser. We do not receive or store that plant-floor data on our servers as part of normal tool operation.

You are responsible for exports, backups, and any data you choose to share outside the Services.

4. How we use information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, authenticate, and license the Services.
  • Process payments and fulfill purchases.
  • Respond to support requests and improve the Services.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

5. Service providers and sharing

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the Services, including Vercel (hosting), Supabase (authentication and licensing database), Stripe (payments), and GitHub (deployment). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions, license checks, and optional analytics. Your browser may also store tool workspace data in local storage when a tool supports save/resume.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling required session cookies may prevent sign-in or license access.

7. Retention

We retain account and license records for as long as your account is active and as needed to honor your license term, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We may delete or archive inactive session logs periodically.

8. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of account information by contacting us. You can disable diagnostic telemetry sharing from your dashboard (licenses tab). Depending on your location, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.

California and other state privacy laws may provide specific rights regarding personal information we collect.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.

10. Children

The Services are intended for business and professional use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.

12. Contact

Privacy questions may be directed to JW Engineering Solutions LLC through the contact information on the ProCalc Toolset Suite website or your purchase correspondence.
